Armen D. Ross is currently President and CEO of The Ross Group, Inc. (TRG) He leads a team of professionals that provide services to clients with business and projects before local, state, and federal government entities. TRG’s services include economic development, land use planning, entitlement processing, building permitting, public affairs, government relations, and community relations.
TRG coordinates various aspects of economic development projects, guiding each project to the proper agency, managing all essential applications, designing presentation materials for public hearings, tracking and coordinating appeals, and consulting with elected officials and involved community groups.
Armen has devoted more than 23 years to public service. Most recently as Deputy Mayor and Director for Homelessness for Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn (Ret.) and prior to that as Assistant Chief of Staff and Chief Legislative Deputy for Los Angeles City Councilmember Nate Holden (Ret.)
As Deputy Mayor and Director for Homelessness, Armen was responsible for review and analysis of existing and potential state and federal legislation regarding the homeless, coordinated the preparation of information and testimony before legislative bodies and public entities regarding the homeless.
As Assistant Chief of Staff to Los Angeles City Councilmember Nate Holden, Armen directed a staff of 20 in overseeing nearly $3 billion in economic development projects in the district including housing, commercial, re-building city owned facilities, and community projects. He coordinated Holden’s legislative agenda while building relationships with a variety of elected officials.
